Message from the Headteacher

As we come to the end of a very busy half term, I am pleased to reflect on what has been an incredibly positive few weeks for our school community.

A key highlight has been our recent Ofsted inspection. We are extremely pleased of the positive outcome, which reflects the dedication of our staff, the excellent attitudes of our students and the strength of our whole school community.

Our school production, Iconic, was another standout moment. It was great to see the commitment, talent and teamwork from all the students. Performing takes real courage, and our pupils rose to the occasion with a range of songs and dance genres celebrating performing arts icons ranging from Margot Fontaine to Beyonce. My sincere thanks go to Mrs Hastings for her tireless work in bringing productions together, to the PTA for their support with refreshments, and to families for your encouragement and for coming to see the show. Well done to everyone who took part.

We are excited for the students heading off on the ski trip tomorrow. Visits such as this provide valuable opportunities to build independence, resilience and teamwork. Thank you to Mr Harvey for organising the trip and to all staff who are giving up part of their half term to accompany our students.

Finally, thank you to our staff and families for your continued support. I wish you all a restful break and look forward to another successful half term ahead.

Mr Gill
