Message from the Headteacher

This week has been a busy and rewarding one across the school.

Our Year 10 students have been out on their work experience placements, representing the school with enthusiasm and professionalism. They have secured a wide range of opportunities, from Owen at The Joyful Brew (pictured here), to placements at Bettys, RHS, the NHS, and even our local MP’s office. We are very proud of how they have embraced these experiences and look forward to hearing all about what they have learnt when they return next week.

Our Year 11 Art students completed their GCSE 10-hour practical exam this week. We hope the experience was a positive one for all involved and commend them for their focus and dedication.

I was delighted to present the Headteacher Award to Year 8 student Erza this week. Well done to her.

Meanwhile, our breakfast club has been as popular as ever, with students enjoying freshly made pancakes. A special thank you goes to Mrs Leddon for her continued support and energy in making this such a welcoming start to the day.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

Mr Gill
Head of Academy
