Message from the Headteacher

Today marks the 100th birthday of the remarkable broadcaster and natural historian Sir David Attenborough. His lifelong commitment to education, curiosity, and care for our planet continues to inspire people across the world. At Harrogate High School, we are proud to promote those same values of exploration, responsibility, and respect for the world around us in all that we do. Sir David’s work and character strongly reflect our CARES values, and we send him our very best wishes and sincere thanks for his lifetime of dedication to creating a better future for both our planet and future generations.

This week our Year 11 students have started the GCSE examination period. We would like to wish all of our Year 11 students the very best in their forthcoming exams. Staff are here to support you every step of the way, and we believe wholeheartedly in your ability to succeed.

You may have seen the recent online article from Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. We are extremely grateful for their continued partnership and support of our young people. Opportunities such as the work experience programme they provide help bring learning to life and inspire students as they begin to consider their futures beyond school.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support of our school community.
