Message from the Headteacher

As we come to the close of another school year, I would like to take a moment to reflect on what has been a very positive and successful year for our school community.

There have been many highlights, including our very positive Ofsted outcome, which recognised the hard work, dedication and commitment shown by our staff and students every day. We are incredibly proud of what has been achieved together.

These last two weeks with the Flamingoland trips, Sports Day, Community Day, Brilliant Club Gradulation, Transition Days and the Rewards Fair have all been wonderful community occassions and there has been so many happy faces, which has been great to see.

Looking ahead to next school year, we are excited to announce that after a lot of fundraising and effort, the school will have two minibuses, which will enable us to facilitate even more opportunities, educational visits and enriching learning experiences for our students.

At this time of year, we also say goodbye to a number of valued colleagues. While we are sorry to see them leave, we wish them every success and happiness in the future.

In particular, I would like to mention Mrs Stewart, who has been a dedicated m

ember of staff at Harrogate High School for 21 years. Mrs Stewart is returning to live in Northern Ireland, and we thank her for her outstanding service, commitment and the positive impact she has had on generations of students and staff. She will be greatly missed, and we wish her all the very best for this next chapter.

My sincere thanks go to all our staff for their professionalism, care and determination throughout the year, and to our students for their enthusiasm, resilience and achievements.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone for their continued support throughout the year. I hope all members of our school community enjoy a restful and enjoyable summer break, and I look forward to welcoming students and staff back in September for another exciting year.
