Welcome from the Headteacher
As we begin a new term, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to all our students, staff and families. It has been wonderful to see our school bustling with energy once again and to welcome everyone back after the summer break.
A special welcome goes to our new year 7 students who have joined our school community. Starting secondary school is an exciting milestone, and I have been delighted by the positive attitude, enthusiasm and confidence they have shown during their first days with us. We wish them every success as they settle into school life and make new friendships.
It was wonderful to see our Year 11 students on Results Day and to celebrate their achievements with them. We were delighted with their results and are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished during their time at school. We wish them every success and happiness in their future endeavours and hope they will stay in touch to share their continued achievements with us.
This year, we are pleased to introduce our new Head Student, Archie and Deputy April. Both students have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, commitment and dedication to our school community. I know they will be excellent ambassadors for the school and role models for their fellow students. We look forward to working with them and the rest of the student leader team throughout the year.
The new term brings many exciting opportunities, challenges and successes, and I am confident that together we will make this a fantastic year for our school community.
I wish all our students and staff a successful and enjoyable term ahead.
I also send best wishes to staff members, Mr Aksoy, Mr Howden, Mrs Rees and Mrs WIlson, who are running the Great North Run this weekend!
