Students learn about health and safety regulations, product standards, and environmental laws that govern design and manufacturing. They explore how technology can empower individuals, such as assistive devices for people with disabilities or sustainable solutions for communities. They learn to appreciate different design perspectives and how diverse contributions lead to better outcomes. Students explore how design can be inclusive of different cultures and beliefs, such as designing products for diverse users or considering religious customs in food technology.
