Message from the Headteacher
I am proud to be the Headteacher of Harrogate High School, and this week I had the honour of attending a special Garden Party for Education and Skills at Buckingham Palace along with many other educationalists from around the country.
It was a privilege to stand among other educators and celebrate the vital role education plays in shaping young lives. The recognition reflects the hard work and dedication that my colleagues and I continue to invest in creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
Thank you to all my colleagues and our school families for their continued support. We are making strong, positive strides in our efforts to support your children in their educational journey, and we remain committed to helping every student achieve their full potential.
In school this week we were supported by the Well Being in Mind team as they held a stall for mental health awareness week at lunchtime, supported by our self control student leaders. It was an opportunity to gain feedback from student voice regarding well being requirements. We know working with the school community and Well Being in Mind team makes a really positive difference to student lives.
I was also delighted to present three students with their City and Guilds certificates this week. Well done to Harvey, Bradley and Braydn.
Wishing you all a restful weekend.
Mr Gill
