Message from the Headteacher
The GCSE exam season is coming to an end for our Year 11 students. Well done to all our Year 11 cohort. We very much look forward to seeing them all on Thursday for their final assembly.
However, the Year 10 practice exams and year 9 assessment are now approaching. Revision tips and advice on how to support your child with their revision are available here.

Last week we were delighted that The Editor of the Stray Ferret came into school and hosted a journalism workshop with some students, equipping them with the skills to launch our very own school newspaper. Watch this space for its first issue—coming soon!
Our Self Control student leaders have been continuing their work with the Well Being in Mind Team and our School Nurse to promote well-being across the school. We are pleased that their efforts are set to launch on the student intranet—so keep an eye out for helpful resources and initiatives created by students, for students.
This coming Monday, students should look out for the Male Mental Health Awareness stall, led by the Well Being in Mind Team and supported by our student leaders. They’ll be sharing important information and offering support to raise awareness and break down stigma.
We welcomed the new transition students and their parents into school this week.
It was great to be able to meet all the new families and we really look forward to welcoming the students for their transition days in July. I would like to thank the PTA for supporting this, Archie, Isabella, Ella and Susannah for writing speeches to give students an insight into life at HHS and to Jasmine for playing her cello so beautifully.
Wishing you all a positive weekend and week ahead.
Mr Gill
Head of Academy
