WEEKLY BULLETIN

Message from the Headteacher
We have now completed the second week of term, and we are delighted to see how well our students are settling into school life. Classrooms are buzzing with energy and focus, and it has been wonderful to see both new and returning pupils building routines and embracing their learning with such positivity.
Our wide range of enrichment clubs are now up and running, offering opportunities for every interest – from sport and music to art, science, and gaming club.
Looking ahead, we are excited to host a Scholastic Book fair next week. This pop up book shop is a wonderful chance for students to explore new books, develop their love of reading. (Further details later in this bulletin).
At Harrogate High School we are committed to providing our students with valuable career insights and hands-on experience to help them make informed decisions about their futures. As part of our ongoing efforts, we are looking to expand our network of professional contacts to enhance the opportunities available to our students.
We would like to invite parents, guardians, and members of our school community to support us in any of the following ways:
• Offering Work Experience Placements – Hosting a student at your workplace for a short period can provide invaluable real-world experience.
• Delivering Industry Talks – Sharing your knowledge and expertise with students can inspire and inform them about different career paths.
• Attending Careers Events – Taking part in events such as careers fairs, mock interviews, or Q&A panels can help students gain a broader understanding of the working world.
• Providing Apprenticeship or Employment Opportunities – If your business offers apprenticeships, internships, or job opportunities for young people, we would love to connect with you.
By getting involved, you can play a crucial role in shaping the aspirations and futures of our students. If you or your organisation would be interested in supporting us in any capacity, please email efaulkner@hhs.nsat.org.uk.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
Mr Gill
Head of Academy
